Health

Dr. Heritier Alamanda Isaac one of the CCC kid graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine

Improving people’s health by providing practical, fundamental health care is very crucial in all communities. Through this, citizens can achieve good health. Moreover, The term “Community Health” describes the integration of civil power and the existing foundational health care system to construct a basic health care network with many functions.

Further, it will inspire people to employ self-determination, autonomy, and self-help. Hence, the top-down policy of community development will motivate people to discover, analyze, and solve the issues with community health. Thus, we will build healthy communities with healthy citizens.

The synthesis of spirituality, religious practice, and health has a long and well-documented history. most specifically religious congregations, have been recognized for their potential to provide mental and physical health programming. Their capacity to reach underserved populations experiencing the nation’s worst health inequalities have led to initiatives promoting their involvement in health programming.

Congo for Christ Center being a Christian organization working in a community where the health system is a big challenge. Many people are unable to access to quality health due to insufficient funds to meet the health expenses and this affect families.

Due to this the mortality rate is high in this community and surroundings. Malnutrition is at a high rate in our community among the kids and women because they are unable to get a balanced meal. Congo for Christ Center has programs to meet the community health challenges by working closely with our community leadership and the government to be able to talk and come up with durable solutions to this challenge. As a Christian organization we believe in an equal health system to all despite their social backgrounds.

In addition to this the ministry Congo for Christ Center thinks of building a health center that will be in a position to be able meet the health challenge of the community and mostly the women and children who are the main victims to this. Many women lose their lives at the pregnancy stages due to lack of good treatment and health care and this has affected many kids to be left orphans. Insufficient treatment has led to premature death of many kids in our society.

We prepare people in this field who have Christian values to come and support our community and improve the health system. We also work hand in hand with our community and mobilize them on the importance of maintaining a healthy community. We believe that the future is brighter and promising.
