Alphonse Bahati Albaht was born in Lweba, Fizi Democratic Republic of Congo and he grew up in Uvira. He is married to Mami Kitungano and God has blessed them with 4 kids. Alphonse Bahati attended Kilimanjaro Primary school in Tanzania refugee camps where he received the primary certificate and later he joined Hekima secondary school in Lugufu refugee camp Tanzania.
In 2011 he joined Hope of the Nations Bible College in Kigoma where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Biblical and Theology and he has also sat for courses and trainings which gives him enough skills to serve the community. He has a wide experience working with humanitarian organizations such as the War Child Canada in 2011 and in 2012 he worked with the Norvegean Refugee counsel both in Baraka.
He has served CCC for several years in different capacities such as a teacher at Mango Tree School and the childcare department. Currently, Alphonse is also, serving as the Lead Pastor of Calvary Chapel Church in Uvira. He has a big heart for the community and mostly working with youth and seeing them become future responsible leaders. He is a family man and in his free time he spends it with his family.
