Establishment of Mango Tree Primary School

The Mango tree school started in 2013. from the different teaching and trainings from volunteers from National Community Church “NCC” in Washington D.C. mission teams, the school has grown to become one of the best primary school around Uvira. The teachers in turn provide quality education to the students studying at the School.

Since Mango Tree school began they have participated in the TENAFEP exams (The national primary exams). We have maximized all the results for the past examination and this proves that excellence is the school main goal.

In partnership with KICHEKO, GLOBAL OUTREACH, MSENWA FOUNDATION and the Motoskate Foundation, Congo for Christ Center has provided:

  • 997 primary school scholarships, among them 527 boys and 470 girls.
  • 96 orphan children housed at the CCC center (including 37 girls and 29 boys) have already benefited from these scholarships to complete secondary education.

The quality of basic education received at the Mango tree school as well as the social care at the Orphanage, this helps them to perform excellently wherever they go.
